Overview
Fictor is committed to transparency about the AI services that power our platform. We use a combination of third-party AI providers to deliver text generation, image creation, and voice synthesis features. Your prompts and relevant context are sent to these providers to generate responses.
AI Providers
Text Generation
We use large language models from providers including Cerebras, DeepInfra, and others to power Affie and story generation features. These models process your prompts and story context to generate narrative content.
Image Generation
Visual content including character art, universe cards, and covers is generated via providers including DeepInfra (SDXL) and Wavespeed (Recraft). Your style preferences and character descriptions are used as generation prompts.
Voice & Audio
Audio narration and text-to-speech features are powered by providers including Kokoro (via DeepInfra), Inworld AI, and Wavespeed ACE. Story text is sent to these services to generate spoken audio.
Understanding AI Limitations
- AI models can make mistakes and may produce inaccurate or unexpected output
- AI models may hallucinate facts, names, or details — always review generated content
- AI output reflects the direction you provide; you are responsible for how you use it
